Inexpensive futon cover
We needed a new futon cover, while the selection in the retail stores was OK, some of the costs were more than the new futon mattress. This futon cover was as described and fits perfectly. There was an odor with the cover, we think due to the packaging. I contacted the seller and they suggested to wash it and provided washing directions. Now the odor is gone. Seller was helpful. Price was well within budget.

Great Cover
This arrived in a box without a plastic cover, but I think this may be due to complaints of the smell. that is sometimes the case with plastic covers. However, I only noticed a slight smell but it didn't smell too bad (a chemical smell) and after one washing I couldn't tell. That's just part of the game I guess, when you buy things like this. Working in retail I've noticed packaging sometimes affects the items. But once you get it out of the bag and then wash it you are fine. Overally I love the material and the color.
nice color, not so nice fit
the color is pretty much as it appears on the screen. the fabric seems sturdy, neither tremendously appealing, nor unpleasant. the main problem is that the cover is not a neat or tight fit to the mattress so it looks like the afterthought it is. this wasn't true of the cover that this one replaced, so it is possible to create a better fit. so, so-so.
