Very pleased with bed
Bought two of these beds. Very easy to put together. If something doesn't line up right or if the screw holes don't appear to be in the right place, then you need to turn one of the parts over or you have the wrong piece. In particular, the center support only goes in smoothly one way. I couldn't believe turning it would make a difference, but it did. The bed is pine, so it is a soft wood with some knots and imperfections, but it shined up beautifully with a Minwax combination stain and polyurethane. Now I have a smooth, glossy finish. The bed is plenty high and no more need for costly mattresses! I also put four of the matching pull-out drawers underneath. You can use four drawers even if your bed has one side against the wall by using some small C clamps from any hardware store to clamp the drawers into sets of two, so that when you pull the one in the front, the back one comes out too.

Great Bed
I bought this bed for one of my children. They previously had a loft platform bed, so I was able to use the same mattress. It was easy to assemble and easy to stain. It is very good and sturdy. It's all wood, no particle board here. This bed will last a long time.
A very nice bed for the price
The reason I bought this was because I wanted to stain the bed in the color of my choice instead of trying to match colors in the stores or online. Cherry is different for different manufacturers, it seems. It was fairly simple to put together even though they gave illustrations for the full size bed.

I like that this is made of solid wood, it's sturdy and it really looks nice now that I've spruced it up with some color.

I bought this for my 3 year old and the height is a little higher than I'd like normally, but it will serve her very well and last her through the years.

Shipping was fast (but an email letting me know it was shipped with shipping numbers would have been nice) and it was not overly expensive to ship.

Over all, I'm very happy with this bed and the vender.

A+ for Packaging/Shipping
I have given this 3 stars now and will come and change it after a week, hopefully for the better.
I bought a 8" mattress but it looks like a 6". There was a note saying it will take up to 48 hours before it will fully uncompress. I have bought futon mattress before online, this one tops for the packaging. I will sleep on it for a week and edit my review.

** Changed to 5 Stars **
Mattress is comfortable, though it looks more like a 7" instead of 8". But I hardly notice it. Nice product, I will buy and recommend this product.

I've had one for 12 years now and it's still in great shape!
I have two of these - a full size on a futon and a queen size on a platform bed. Both have held up very well. The one on the futon has been used for 12 years now and it's still going strong. The first few years, it was used for both sitting and sleeping but now it's just used as a sofa. I'm sure I'll replace the cover again long before I replace the futon. The firmness is just right - not too soft and not too firm, though it leans toward firm. I'll never buy any other mattress.

Firm!
I've been sleeping on this mattress a few weeks now. It is quite firm, which is exactly what I wanted. I have trouble at times getting it to fold when I want to sit up. Hopefully that aspect will break in over time. I would highly recommend getting a cover for this futon as well, since it is constructed outwardly like a normal bed mattress. It's very thick and retains its thickness, so you may need to get a cover for a 9" mattress, as one website suggested.
Good Mattress
This is a very good mattress. It's comfortable to sleep on, and seating. The shapping of the the soffa mode can be a bit frustating but over all it's worth the confort. We've had this mattress for about 6 months and I would deffinetly recommend it.

Product Features :

• Overstuffed -14 inches of HD foam & Polyfiber Compressed into an 8" Case
• Medium Firmness - Not too soft or too firm
• Durable -Comes with a 10 year warranty, Made to last!

Excellent!
This bed is great! It's high, easy to assemble and very very sturdy. I stained it a dark cherry color and glossed it. It looks like a $500 bed now! The bed is also easy to disassemble if I ever want to move it out of the room it's in now.

Excellent value, fast shipping and a quality product. Awesome!

A solid bed fraemneeds more hardware
Ok i bought this so i could put a memory foam matress on it.I come to find out that it needs a flat surface to sit on or the warranty will be void on my matress so i had to buy plywwood to put over the slats on this bed.The lady i talked to at room doctor said to use a pice of cardboard.

The only real gripe i have is how the slats are installed. They are just layed in with out being secured with a nail or screw. They use nylon straps to hold them with tension betweeen blocks on the frame. As stated above if you use a memory foam matress forget about this bed you need a flat surface for it to sit on.If you are using any memory foam matress ask what the matress needs to be on before you buy a bed frame as it may void your warranty.

I posted pictures of whats in the box and what it looks like when it is together
Excellent wood bed and drawer set
Very sturdy, affordable, and easy-to-assemble all-wood bed in a simple, pleasing, platform design. My only complaint was both the bed and drawers were missing some hardware. However, I called the manufacturer's number on the box and they Fed-exed the parts within 3 days. So, no real complaints.

Heaven is a firm mattress
I called the store that this mattress came from. The sales rep "warned" me that this futon was firm...very firm. While he confirmed that it is made by one of the best futon manufacturers in the country, and that it was wonderfully made, he wanted me to understand what I was about to order - a very firm futon mattress. What I received is EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. The futon is made exclusively for platform beds, and not couches. It's edges are "squared" on all corners, just like a regular mattress. It doesn't "cave in" or relax anywhere. This is quality. (By the way, I received the futon 3 business days after it was ordered.)

I LOVE this mattress. We have slept on futons for 20 years but we are getting older. We bought the Haley and it was like heaven. I would recommend it without reservation for those who like firm.

Good product
Inflates fast & simple to deflate/stow away...standard aerobed. Used this over the course of the weekend and found it very comfortable. Re-inflated it somewhat only once (though it really hadn't lost much air). Happy w this product

Click here to read the full review for more information about this product.

it's ok
- comfortable to sleep on (pillowtop is nice addition, though it's an inflatable part, I expected it to be some kind of thick and soft material).

- leaks a bit (looses half of the air in less than a week).

- not sure if build-in pump is great or not, I don't like wires attached to the mattress, on the other hand like that I don't need to connect/disconnect a pump, this way you never loose it.
Poor quality
I ordered this air mattress not once but 3 times and each one had a leak. Try another air bed.

Cheap Charleston Solid Hardwood Platform Bed Frame - Queen Size For sale

The Charleston is made of smooth, clean, unfinished poplar hardwood, not pine. Many of the pine frames on the market have a rough splintery feel. Pine averages 18% moisture content, our hardwood is kiln dried to 8%, which means it's far less likley to split or warp. This pure untreated wood is preferred by many consumers seeking a natural, hypo-allergenic alternative to todays chemical laden products. We have been selling furniture since 1984 and these are the finest quality unfinished bed frames we have seen. *Assembly required. -SORRY, WE DO NOT SHIP TO ALASKA OR HAWAII.

Speedy delivery, good value, misleading advertising
The bed arrived at my doorstep in an impressive four days, and is a descent product for the price. It came in one very heavy carton and it took my husband less than an hour to assemble. Once assembled, the bed has pleasing clean lines that remind me of Scandinavian furniture--though it could take on other character, depending on how you stain it. The wood is nearly white with a slight yellow yellowish cast, as expected of poplar. Five stars for amazing delivery and four stars for good value for price.

However, I must severely downgrade this product for misleading advertising. The ad reads, "...smooth, clean, unfinished poplar hardwood, not pine." First of all, the wood is actually rough, particularly at the board ends, and not be "beautiful as is". Be prepared to sand it well if you want a beautiful bed; and finish it with stain, paint or "Danish oil" for smoothness and protection.

Secondly, the comparison of pine verses poplar is deceptive. Poplar trees...

Good service and product for the price
This is a great product for the price. The item was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition. No nasty surprises. It was also very easy to assemble. It took us less than two hours to put together. The wood is light, yet strong and didn't crack or chip during assembly. The bed has a smooth finish, and makes a simple and pleasing addition to the room. I did some comparison shopping at local stores and found this to be a great buy for the price. Plus, the seller's promptness made the whole experience a good one.
Great product at a great price!!!!!!
This is a wonderful bed and you can't beat the price for a solid wooden frame! No artificial materials in this bed--it's all wood and easy to assemble!!!
